This table got its name from my son's comment about the front leg on this table which he seems to think resembles a whales tail. At first we didn't realise what he meant when he pointed at the leg and said "whales tail".
This is a single slab of Redgum with live edges and the ends have been carved in a free form style to give some really interesting shapes.
The back leg consists of two old recycled fence posts that are joined to form one large chunky style leg.
